Vulnerable Adults

Persons from age 18 to 59 with physical or mental incapacitation or limitations that restrict the ability of the person to perform the normal activities of daily living are “vulnerable persons” under Nevada law, and with persons age 60 and over are collectively referred to as “vulnerable adults”.

This page contains information about Adult Protective Services, including how to report vulnerable adult abuse, neglect, self-neglect, exploitation or isolation, and warning signs of vulnerable adult abuse.

If you use a computer at home, your abuser may be able to track you. If possible, use a computer at a library or community centre. The library kiosk will wipe your search. If you or another vulnerable adult are in immediate danger,  call 911.
