What is This Kiosk?

What Is This Kiosk?

This kiosk was designed to provide legal information to Nevada’s seniors, but anyone can use it! You can use the kiosk to learn about many civil legal topics and how to access legal aid, find court forms, and locate community resources. However, this legal information is not a substitute for the advice of a licensed attorney. See the Find Legal Services section of this kiosk for information on how to contact an attorney for legal advice or representation.

Why Is It Needed?

The COVID-19 pandemic moved the legal system virtual, creating a digital divide that has disproportionately impacted many communities, especially seniors. Access to the legal system, and justice, now requires the means and resources to use technology. This kiosk provides such a resource for Nevadans.

Who Made It Possible?

This kiosk is a project of Nevada Legal Services. It is supported by a financial assistance award from the Administration for Community Living (ACL), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The contents are those of the author(s) and do not necessarily represent the official views of, nor an endorsement by, ACL/HHS, or the U.S. Government. The award is administered by Nevada Department of Health and Human Services, Aging and Disability Services Division (ADSD).
